Character Creation: Guidelines

If your cover requires a particular type of person that you can’t find anywhere in the common image stock providers, I’ll be happy to create a character from different body parts. Meaning that most of the time different models’ images can be combined to get the desired look of your main character. Therefore, swapping a head is doable and I do this quite often, so you have your desired characters’ appearance on your cover.

However, if you require two or three more characters on a cover, there will be additional costs since it also requires additional stock images. Unless you’ve already paid for the stock, provide it to me, and I won’t need to replace any heads, hands, arms, etc. In that case, you’ll just pay for the extra hours of photomanipulation if it’s something that takes longer than a standard cover.

Please keep in mind that if the extra characters on the cover are images you’ve already found and are adamant in using after purchasing the stock yourself, this will have no extra charge unless you want specific poses for all of them and I’ll have to purchase different stock for that.

In each case mentioned above, I would like that you consult me about this before placing your request. I’ll inform you of the additional costs before I start working on your project,so you are aware of the final price.

Extra information:

Additional character, creature or animal on your cover cost extra $50, but the price can go up depending on the requirements and the stock availability.

Upon consulting me for extra character creation, send me links to the stock images that you found—if you have any—so I can give you a real estimative of the cost based on the price of purchasing those images and the time that will take to finish the cover.

If you have more than one character’s creation request, send me a message/email before submitting your full brief.

This means that you will receive my Ebook cover design within 3-7 days.
You can make changes, and if you don’t like it at all, I’ll design new one for you, with your guidance.

The cost of your cover design includes the rights to use these images and is limited to a print-run of 250,000 units, or sales in the case of ebooks.
For unlimited usage, there would be an additional fee of approximately $100 per image.
